Origin of Our Name
Acanthus is a family
of Mediterranean perennial herbs with intricately patterned leaves and small,
showy flowers. Architects frequently reproduced the distinctive leaves in marble
to adorn the capitals of Corinthian columns. This marriage of nature and
structure reflects our passion for using the colors and scents of flowers to
create a style and capture emotion.

Who We Are
Acanthus Floral in Snohomish,
Washington is the vision of designer Lea Magill. Designing for Molbak's Nursery
for more than 12 years, Lea trained under award-winning floral designers from
the Pacific Northwest and beyond in the latest styles and techniques. In 2002,
Lea set out to create a new way for brides to connect with their floral designer
to ensure their wedding flowers were truly a reflection of their wishes. When
not designing, Lea can be found in her garden, hiking with her husband, seeking
exotic new flowers and plants, or enjoying a ballet performance by her two
daughters.
Our Passion
We at Acanthus Floral take pride in listening to your wishes to bring your vision to life in flowers. We work with a range of vendors to ensure access to the full palette of floral offerings from the traditional to the truly rare. Our expertise allows us to suggest flowers taking into account seasonal availability and price fluctuations. We love to incorporate unique elements that connect personally with our brides, and work creatively to accommodate your requests, from the stylish to the whimsical, the latest trends or more traditional fare. Our talented staff is able to make any size wedding beautiful and unique, from the intimate to the very large.
Our Approach
Every Acanthus wedding begins with a detailed personal consultation. Here you'll view our portfolios and we'll discuss your ideas in a relaxed setting. As your wedding date approaches, Acanthus Floral will work to ensure open communiation with you, your coordinator, and the event site to ensure your wedding flowers are as beautiful and worry free as possible. Acanthus Floral's studio is located in historic Snohomish, Washington. We offer delivery and setup of our designs throughout Western Washington.
